Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and prepare a loaf pan with nonstick spray. In an electric mixer, cream the sugar and butter until fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing until incorporated. Add the vanilla and mix.
Add the dry ingredients and mix until incorporated.
Add the bananas and yogurt and mix with a wooden spoon until incorporated.
Fill a 26 x 12 cm loaf pan three quarters full of batter.
Bake for 30 – 35 minutes OR until golden brown and a tester comes out clean.
