Ok, excuse my silly puns, but I just can’t help it! Watermelons are really one of those ingredients that have everyone smiling once they have a slice in their hands. I don’t know one person that doesn’t love snacking on these sweet and healthy fruits. You can literally eat the whole thing as the rinds of watermelon can also be used in pickles or preserves.

With over 92% of this fruit consisting out of water, it’s pretty clear why it’s called that. Even more reason why watermelons are the perfect refreshing summer snack. Full of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, make sure to include this fresh fruit (or is it a vegetable?) in your daily snack routine.
Canapés for the Crowds
Getting back to the recipe for these delicious bites, I was first introduced to this combo by my very talented cousin, (queen of entertaining) – a while back. She casually just whipped these snacks up in no time and beautifully presented these mouthfuls on trays with ice cold wine. Errmh, Yes please! Way to feed a crowd!
