December is slowly creeping up on us guys and I’m getting a little nervous about the fact that I haven’t even managed a single to-do list for my Christmas shopping. Can you believe that this year is almost gone? GONE!
In other news, my mission to go sugar free last week failed miserably since hubby has such a sweet tooth and came home with treats on Wednesday. On a Wednesday?! I’ve literally been dying inside about my lack of willpower.
One thing that I am doing right though, is fueling my body with the right kind of stuff – like this easy peasy Beetroot Smoothie Bowl.
I find the ever popular ‘smoothie bowl’ as the perfect, quick and easy breakfast idea and I’ve been enjoying blending some great (and odd) fresh ingredients together.
This one is a combination of fresh beets with frozen berries, oats, fresh ginger, lime, banana, kiwi and my homemade granola. I couldn’t be more happier to get on trend with adding veggies to your breakfast – a concept I’m keen to explore in future.
What is your favorite smoothie bowl combos? I also made this delicious Passion Fruit and Nutty Granola Bowl – Let me know in the comments below!
